The unique voice of Meinir Gwilym, along with her honest lyrics and Celtic/acoustic/rocfolk texture has endeared this special artist to audiences all over Wales for nearly a decade. The release of her fi rst CD, ‘Smôcs, Coffi a Fodca rhad’ led to an overwhelmingly positive response and was recognised as one of the most original and inspirational albums to emerge from Wales for a number of years. Sharing the stage with Meinir this afternoon - Jamie Smith, one of the UK’s fi nest accordionists and writers of new acoustic music. he also fronts renowned folk group Mabon. A cup of tea and shortbread to follow.
