Kaleidoscope

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Kaleidoscope includes the paintings of Don Henderson and the ceramics of Stephen Bird. An interest in the possibilities of paint, painting materials and traditional craft such as lacquering and japanning has lead Henderson to a unique and contemporary painting practice. Birds humorous contemporary ceramics make observations of complex collective issues including politics, cultural imperialism and the global power struggle. Throughout the exhibition Henderson will be working within the gallery atempting to create a body of work in response to Birds ceramics.

Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"Our family fun day this year was the best ever and a great deal of that success was from a mention on WhereCanWeGo.com. We will definitely be using it for all future events." - Lee Mill Community Association.
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
