Gustard Wood and Blackmore End, Open Gardens

Come and walk round 12 beautiful gardens in Gustard Wood/ Blackmore End. This is a lovely, day out for young or old, with live music, treasure trails, wildlife groups and plants for sale. Refreshments include teas with home-made cakes, ice-creams and a ‘bring your own’ picnic area in a wildflower meadow. The event is a fundraiser for 2 of our local schools, St Helen’s in Wheathampstead and St Albans Girls’ School. Ticket price £5, under 18's free. No dogs please. Look out for yellow direction signs from Wheathampstead On the B651 between Wheathampstead and Kimpton. Parking in the Broadway. The twice daily 304 bus route from St Albans stops at the Broadway.
