Live at the Globe: Bruise

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Folk-rock duo Bruise is a miniature miracle in more ways than one. First; musically, it is truly astonishing the depth and richness of the sounds that this imaginative two piece can produce, with Isobel's exquisite voice and Jim's world class drumming at the fore the simplicity and beauty is genuinely moving. Secondly Bruise have somehow managed to carve a career for themselves covering 3 continents, 3 albums and 10 years. Remaining aloof from record label approaches they have maintained their own creative control and focused on playing and developing their unique sound with refreshing results. This husband and wife team comes highly recommended with support from BBC 6 Music, The Times and The Wire.
