Wessex Actors Company is a brand new professional theatre company based in Dorset. Formed in 2011, our aim is to bring exciting and innovative theatre to the South Coast. Following on from the fantastic success of our critically acclaimed 2011 production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', this year we are presenting 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', which we will be touring around several open-air venues throughout Dorset. Starting in Swanage, our tour takes us to Wareham, Upton, Wimborne, Bridport and Poundbury. We aspire to make Shakespeare accessible to all, spending time to ensure it's easily understood, absorbing and most of all, fun! With our experienced cast, glorious costumes and special performances and workshops for schools this promises to be the ultimate Shakespearian experience!
