Liverpool RSPB Field Trips 2015
A trip up the dramatic Pendle Hill (rising to a height of 1831 feet) looking for specialist mountain species, dotterel, black redstart and ring ouzel. Others red grouse. stonechat, wheatear and raven.
Pendle Hill, relatively moderate walk up path ascending to the triangulation point. Some may find steep/ fairly strenuous and bitterly cold during winter months. Appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn.
