A Day in the Life of Little Salkeld Watermill – Farming Landscapes 2012
Restored in 1975 by Ana and Nick Jones, Little Salkeld Watermill is one of the northwest’s few fully operational traditional watermills, producing high quality stoneground organic and biodynamic flours using British grain.
This event will include a walk (less than 1 mile) up the millrace, a look at the mill smallholding (sheep, goats, hens, ducks and woodland) and a chance to see our outdoor oven.
