This excellent site just outside Blackpool offers a wide variety of habitats with hides. Although it is squeezed for space by a large caravan park, it always attracts some wonderful birds. The reserve is nationally recognised, as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its birds but also has important populations of dragonflies, butterflies, hoverflies and other animals such as bats.
