Heritage Open Day: This year we are concentrating on the botanical history of the site. Enjoy the majesty of the soaring Lime trees in the Monks' Walk, and see the progress made to revitalise this centuries old garden with new planting. Hug a tree - or several! Look at tree rings and try to date the stumps. See the ancient craft of green woodworking in action and maybe take away a hand made souvenir. Picnic area and simple play area on site.
