Castles of the Thames Valley - new research - History Conference
Booking is now open for this year’s conference!
We have attracted a number of eminent speakers who
have all been engaged in recent castle research and who will together stimulate an excellent
opportunity for a re-evaluation of the role of Wallingford’s royal medieval fortress.
Speakers include Steven Brindle on Windsor, Oliver Creighton on The Anarchy period in
the Thames Valley, Jeremy Ashby on The Tower of London, Julian Munby on Oxford
Castle and our own Katharine Keats-Rohan and Judy D
