Wessex Heavy Horse Show and Country Fayre
One of the largest Heavy Horse events in the South West, the annual Wessex Heavy Horse Show and Country Fayre typically draws fourty or more entries. It features the West of England In Hand and Harness Championships, the culmination of several qualifying shows through the year. There are the popular classes for foals, harness and horse-drawn vehicles, but it’s not all horses: we have a well-supported display of vintage vehicles, stationary engines, gun-dogs, terrier racing, children’s activities
Classes start 9am. Adults £6, children (5-16) £3, families £15*, under 5s go free. Dogs welcome on leads. Tickets on the gate or in advance.
