The Beauty of the Orient

A display by Dutch lace maker Yvonne Scheele-Kerkhof of interpretations of Asian motifs. She describes her work as ‘painting in thread’ and through these exquisite pieces she takes us on a journey to discover the beauty of the Orient and the meaning and symbolism of the designs. This display complements ‘A Mothers Love’.
