WWII Home Front Weekend
A whole weekend of living history. Re-enactment groups include Bomb Disposal Squad, Home Guard, Wartime Radio Communication, Make Do and Mend demonstrations, Dig for Victory, Farming and Land girls, Food Rationing. You can also visit our WWII Shop, Kitchen and Classroom and help put out the fire with Stirrup Pumps. Lucky Dip for the children and even a Hairdresser and Make up Artist for Mum, while Dad looks at the military and veteran vehicles.
