Conducted Tour of the Old Medicine House

The Old Medicine House at Blackden is a Tudor, timber-framed building which was moved from Staffordshire in 1970 by Alan Garner and his wife Griselda, to extend an existing house. The tour includes a walk round the garden (weather permitting), with its herb beds and collection of prize-winning gooseberry trees, a display of artefacts illustrating the ten thousand years occupation of the site and a tour of The Old Medicine House itself.
