A Night at the Opera - Wakefield Grammar School Foundation Chorus & Hepworth Band
Over 100 voices will take to the stage for ‘the Big Sing’ at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS) on Saturday 5th April when the Wakefield Grammar School Foundation Chorus will be joined by the Hepworth brass band for a programme of music from the world of opera.
The band and chorus will join forces to perform Verdi’s Speed your Journey from Nebucco, the Easter Hymn from Masgani’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Puccini’s Humming Chorus and Borodin’s famous Polovtsian Dances.
