It’ll all be over by Christmas…
In 1914 Warrington went into war thinking that it would soon be over – little realising how long and terrible the ‘Great War’ would be. This is the first of a series of local history exhibitions exploring World War One, including objects from the Museum’s collection, a timeline of the events and local people’s memories of the conflict.
Open Mon-Fri 10am-4:30pm, Sat 10am-4pm. Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays. Free Entry.
