Pontefract Heritage Group’s Ghost Walks of Pontefract Castle
Our performers bring to life the ghosts of some of the people who have lived and met a gruesome end in this infamous fortress. As you walk through the castle, lit only by candlelight, you will meet with the Black Monk, Richard II and his jailer, Henry VIII and his executioner, Nevison the Highwayman, Tom of Bedlam and many others.
