The Breckland Society visit to the Stone Curlew Roost at Cavenham Heath, Suffolk

Cavenham Heath is a National Nature Reserve, managed by Natural English. In late summer and early the rare and nocturnal bird, the Stone Curlew, roosts in large numbers prior to migrating to warmer climes for the winter.

The visit by The Breckland Society will be led by the RSPB. They will set up telescopes and will tell us about these summer visitors to Britain. Although there is no guarantee how many birds may be seen during our visit, it is hoped that there will be good views of the bi
Booking in advance is essential as places are limited.

There is no charge to members of The Breckland Society, however for non-members the cost is £8.00
