The Post Office Went To War. No need to book, just DROP IN! In March 1915, after months of training, the Post Office Rifles arrived in France and were almost immediately thrown into the battle of Festubert – one of the major offensives of the First World War. Documenting his experiences at the time was postal worker and Post Office Rifleman Thomas May. Drop in during the day, and a talk at 4pm. Children love visiting the Museum Store.
