The False Consonances of Music - Duo Repicco
The astonishingly talented Hungarian/ Norwegian Duo Repicco were finalists in the Young Artists Competition at the 2013 York Early Music Festival. They perform Italian music in the ‘stylus phantasticus’ by Frescobaldi, Uccellini, Marini, Mealli and from Nicola Matteis’s False Consonances of Musick (1682), and the violin sonata in A major by Bach, BWV 1025, arranged for violin and lute by Weiss.
