Dare to Dabble Art Session for Absolute Beginners: Batik

Ever fancied yourself as a starving artist? Well here’s your chance to Dare to Dabble! Designed completely around the absolute beginner, or those who just fancy a dabble, these sessions provide an opportunity to try out new art techniques and mediums. Batik - To create a batik areas of cloth are blocked out by either painting or drawing on to the cloth with hot wax. The wax creates a resist so when the cloth is covered in a dye only the non waxed areas change colour. This process is repeated aga
