Living History - Children’s Picnic for local school
Experience Ickworth Lives Living History days which tells the real stories of the people who lived and worked at Ickworth in the thirties. The Family treated women and children from the village to a party once a year. Long tables would be set-up under the great trees in the park, covered with trays of sandwiches, pink iced-cakes and jugs of tea and lemonade. Games were laid out on the North Lawn, including swings, roundabouts and see-saws. Join us for a special historic day and follow in the foo
