To mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, we are showing an exhibition which explores the links between war and surgery.
Artist Julia Midgley has been given unprecedented access to visit a number of military medical facilities. She has created over 150 reportage sketches showing military surgeons in training and the rehabilitation of servicemen and women after surgery.
