My beautiful England

Author Michelle Flatley talks about her novels, My Beautiful England and Precious Metal, which explore the experiences of people who come from abroad to settle in Lancashire. Although fiction, the books reveal the problems facing migrants to the area, including social isolation and ingrained prejudices, but also celebrate friendship and acceptance.
