As we walk along the embankment overlooking the cob pool the emphasis will be on the waders.
Careful observation amongst the lapwing, redshank and curlew may reveal black-tailed godwit, spotted redshank or even a ruff. By now, wildfowl should be returning and we may find a garganey amongst the Teal feeding on the edges of the pool.
