August Exhibition and in-residency day with local Highland artist Janis Mennie
August at Beauly Gallery begins with an in-residency day featuring local artist Janis Mennie . This years output of paintings has seen Janis continuing along her tradition of working loosely and from memory, depicting what she has seen and experienced whilst out walking or cycling around her home on the Black Isle or on the wonderful west coast. Most paintings contain elements from different locations (though when sheep are involved, the incidents are actual!). Janis develops an idea at home in
