The Divertimento Oboe Quartet.
Divertimento Oboe Quartet will be performing a delightful mixture of musical styles at their concert. The evening begins with the declamatory Queen of Sheba by Handel, followed by the virtuosic Oboe Quartet by Mozart. The dazzling Passacaglia for violin and viola by Halvorssen is a series of variations on a theme by Handel and the first half ends with a most appealing oboe quartet by Franz Krommer. After the interval you will hear the popular Gabriel’s Oboe by Morricone, some songs by Cole Porte
