Reformation Debates

It’s 1564 at the height of the Counter-Reformation. Pope Pius IV has assembled a commission of cardinals to investigate the suitability of contemporary music for use in the church. With the help of the composer Palestrina, the cardinals (that’s you) have been invited to participate in a musical 'laboratory' to explore and measure musical styles of the day.
