Cambridge Summer Music Festival - Asagi Nakata - piano
Asagi Nakata was born in Japan 1995 and began piano lessons at the age of 3. She was taught by Ian Jones, Benjamin Kaplan, and currently she is studying with Tatiana Sarkissova. In 2009 she won First Prize at the 2nd International Franz Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Weimar, Germany. In 2012, aged just 17, she made her Prague debut in the Dvorák Hall at the International Festival Young Prague playing the Grieg Piano Concerto.
