Black Work Butterfly Embroidery Workshop
Create your own embroidered butterfly using the traditional technique of counted blackwork, popularized by Henry VIII’s first wife Catherine of Aragon, who stayed at the Palace.
The project is worked on Edinburgh linen with a range of black threads, and sections of the butterfly will be sampled throughout the day enabling attendees to complete the project at home.
A kit is provided with full instructions and materials. All abilities welcome.

£50/£40 Fulham Palace volunteers + £12 for kit; booking essential. This workshop takes place in the Jessie Mylne Education Centre. 10am-4pm.
