Swords and Shields at the Ready!
Using illustrations and the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry as inspiration, children will decorate their own Jacobite sword and shield. Take them to the Batttle of Prestonpans Re-enactment event the following weekend 19-21st September, and Bonnie Prince Charlie’s favoured shield will win a prize.
