The City Museum houses one of the finest collections of Early Anglo-Saxon artefacts in Hampshire. If you have ever gazed into the cabinets and wondered how these treasures were made, what they were for, how they were used, or indeed what they may have looked like when they were ‘shiny and new’, then this is the weekend to visit.
