Meifod during the First World War: the front line and the home front

1 An exhibition showing the impact of the Great War on Meifod and the surrounding area in Montgomeryshire, told mainly in pictures and extracts from local newspapers. It includes recruitment, the stories of the soldiers from Meifod and district who died, hospitals and nursing, the home front, women working, the impact on farming, and what happened in Meifod after the war.

The exhibition is open 10am-6pm both days
Admission £3 (children £1) to include refreshments and talks/readings. Admission for both days £5 (children £2).
