WW1 - War is Announced - Experienced

Family day designed to educate and entertain about the days following the start of the First World War on 4th August 1914. Meet our costumed Officers of the British Army and give the children a taste of army discipline. Make bandages and knit socks for the men in the trenches, dress up as Red Cross workers and get a taste of the lives of the Edwardians whose peaceful summer was ripped apart a hundred years ago.
