A visit to Thorney

Heritage Open Day: Meeting for a short talk on the history of the Abbey, visitors will enjoy the atmosphere of the Norman interior, then we will walk through the village and park to look at how the area was changed and improved by the Duke of Bedford. Thorney Heritage Museum will be open for this occasion. Visitors can then return to the Abbey where light refreshments will be available to purchase in aid of the Abbey.
