St Pega's Church

Heritage Open Day: The great glory of this 11th century church is its outstanding 14th century wall paintings, including unusual and entertaining morality scenes as well as a Passion sequence and a painting of Saint Christopher. This is the only church in the world dedicated to the 8th century St Pega (sister of St Guthlac of Crowland) after whom the village of Peakirk is named.
