St Peter's Church, Chester

Heritage Open Day: Located right at the heart of the city. Founded in AD 907 and rebuilt in the 14th century with later alterations by Thomas Harrison and John Douglas. Interesting galleries and fragment of medieval fresco. Volunteers will be on hand to welcome visitors and answer questions.
