Walk Mill

Heritage Open Day: Walk Mill is a working flour mill, mentioned in the Domesday Book. Demolished in 1965 it has recently been rebuilt and is now open to the public. The mill itself is powered by the river Gowy. Products are baked on the premises using stone ground flour, made from wheat grown in fields around the mill; the products are then sold in our cafe and shop.
