Heritage Open Day: Higham Hall is a beautifully restored 19th century Gothic mansion with well-tended gardens and wonderful views of Skiddaw and the Northern Lake District Fells. Having been a residential college for 30 years, Higham is now an independent, educational trust providing short courses for people of all ages and levels of experience.
