St Paul's Church, Lindale

Heritage Open Day: We are holding an art exhibition featuring the work of local artists for the Heritage Open Days. St Paul's Church was designed by Kendal architect, George Webster, whose tomb is located in the church grounds. The village of Lindale is also the former home of iron founder, John Wilkinson, who is said to be buried in an iron coffin beneath the church.
