Winder Hall Country House Hotel
Heritage Open Day: Winder Hall, previously known as Lorton Hall, is now a luxurious country house hotel. However, it was once a grand Jacobean manor house that is known to have been renovated in around 1663 and has an attached 3-storey pele tower, reputedly dating from the 14th century but clearly at least substantially rebuilt in the 19th century.
