Swanage Town Hall
Heritage Open Day: The Town Hall, built in 1882, incorporates the front of The Mercer's Hall from Cheapside in London, as designed by Edward Jarman (a contemporary of Christopher Wren) in 1668. The interior on view includes the Foyer, Staircase and Council Chamber, which is still used for meetings. A small but interesting collection of paintings of old Swanage is also on display.
