Heritage Open Day: The Old School House, a Grade II listed building which was once part of the adjacent Methodist Church, has been sensitively renovated by Artlink to become the Centre for Community Arts. Its central gallery shows regular exhibitions. Artlink's Purple Plum Tree, known affectionately by horticulturalists as the Thunder- cloud Tree has stood within the Artlink Gardens watching the 'goings on' down Princes Avenue for decades.
