Hull City Hall Organ Talk and Recital

Heritage Open Day: Hull's City Hall organ was built by the Hull firm of Foster and Andrews in 1911 and was their largest ever project. No expense was spared with keys made of ivory, draw stops of ebony and tables and sliders of Honduras mahogany. In 1950, following significant war damage, the organ was completely restored and fitted with a new electric action by the John Compton Organ Company of London.
