Swanland Heritage Centre
Heritage Open Day: Swanland Heritage Centre first started life about fifteen years ago, as a millennium project.
Half a dozen Swanland residents set about writing a more definitive history of the village and this was published in 2006. They also instituted a Heritage Trail around the village.
During the course of this enterprise a substantial archive was accumulated and this has found a permanent home as the Swanland Heritage Centre, which was opened in November 2013.
