Heritage Open Day: Grade II listed timber framed building dating from the late 15th century, associated with William Gilberd, scientist and physician to Queen Elizabeth I. Interior with original ceilings and staircase. This fabulous treasure has recently been re-opened as a tea room, and this weekend offers visitors the chance to view the upstairs area of the house and find out more about its history from local experts.
