Dean Forest Railway, Norchard

Heritage Open Day: Set within the land of the Old Severn and Wye Railway that replaced the original tramway transporting iron and coal to the River Severn, the recreation of the Age of Steam provides an excellent visitor attraction. Dean Forest Railway will be offering its usual programme: steaming on the weekend but in addition for Heritage Open Days will be offering tours of the restoration shed and Norchard Signal box at 11am and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. They are also offering free access
