Heritage Open Day: Horse Carrs, built in 1865, was the home of Silk Mill Manufacturer, Thomas Watson,who was also a benefactor to the town of Rochdale. Visit the building and talk to our historian about the history of the Watson family and the building. View the pictorial history of the building to current date and enjoy a slide show. Then visit the Coffee House for refreshments. There will be some children's activities available.
