C J Gallard's Almshouses, Southborough
Heritage Open Day: There will be an exhibition about the almshouses and their history and visitors will be welcome to walk around the garden. Although the flats themselves will not be open there will be photos showing the accommodation provided for our residents and we hope to be able to open at least one of the communal rooms. Teas will be available.
Visitors are requested to remember that the almshouses are the home of 25 elderly people and that their privacy and desire for peace and quiet
