St Barnabas' Parish Church

Heritage Open Day: Explore this spectacular and ornate brick built Gothic church, known locally as 'the Cathedral of Camden Road', or take a guided tour. You will see fittings by Ninian Comper and Martin Travers, and a beautiful series of stained glass windows by Heaton, Butler and Bayne. The vaulted mortuary chapel, which contains an original wooden cross from a 1915 war grave, is specially notable. View an extensive exhibition of the history of the church, parish, school and town.
